Issa Bah, founder of IB Transport, has had experience in trucking for several years, including not only working as a driver and dispatcher but also as a shipper/ receiver. After 10 years working within the industry and gaining knowledge from these different positions, in 2013 Issa decided it was time to strike out on his own. And now, we currently employ over 10 drivers and support staff.
Currently IB Transport has Ten 5-ton straight trucks all equipped with Power Tailgates to assist in all your delivery needs, and we are growing. We work with dispatch teams that manage delivery and pick up scheduling, and believe that having logical and efficient communication will assist in meeting only the highest standards. These efforts assist us in not only ensuring our clients always get the best customer service but that there is always a point of contact for any diversity that may arise. IB Transport consistently offers reliable pick-up and delivery services, excellent customer service and has friendly, communicative drivers. Drivers are also required to maintain a clean Commercial Drivers Abstract. Additional training is required should any incident occur. We have a strict disciplinary action/education policy in place that assists our drivers in becoming the best and safest professional drivers possible.
Our fleet consists of high-quality, well-maintained trucks and equipment, and It is company policy that drivers frequently perform safety checklists throughout the day to ensure the safe operation of the vehicle. With these and additional measures in place we assure that Safety is our number one concern.
